Intro video (Root Cause Analysis Course package 1)
Methods included in the package
The purpose of Root Cause Analysis Course Package 1 is to provide knowledge within a number of basic tools that we know will have a good effect. In addition, all methods are easy to incorporate into the business, which means you can invest today and streamline tomorrow! Below we provide a comprehensive description of the tools and methods included in the course package.

5W2H
With the 5W2H tool, we create a revised problem description that is better adapted to the internal process. Thanks to good structure and clear goals, the working group can avoid a wrong focus from the start, which contributes to easier handling of the problem. We should not waste resources by chasing causes that are not linked to the problem and with this method we ensure that the problem itself is well defined and clear to everyone in the working group!

Ishikawa
Perhaps the most commonly used tool for finding causes of a given problem is the Ishikawa analysis, also known as the Fishbone Diagram or the Cause-Effect Diagram. With the help of customer reviews, among other things, we have developed the content of the course and now give examples from several industries. Have the working group set up theories and activities that will take them closer to the root cause of the problem. With the help of the associated templates you can get started and analyze your problems, right after completing the course!

5-Why
Knowledge of a large number of methods and tools is a characteristic of many companies that have succeeded well in their work on problem solving and improvement work. In addition to the necessary knowledge of the tools, they also have the ability to see when a particular tool can be used or when other fits better. 5-Why is a simple but good tool that we use in many cases as a supplement as other tools do not really reach to a confirmed cause.

Five Questions For Zero Defects
5QFZD (Five Questions for Zero Defects) is a method that can give the working group further ideas in the process of finding weaknesses in the process. We choose to include this tool in the course package as it complements the work and ensures that the working group develops activities that take them on to a proposed solution. The course also includes our template for the tool and we explain how different industries can adapt the questions to the processes and working methods that exist.
